-How do I know what school to try out for?
- Whatever school your athlete is districted for based on your address is the middle school team you must try out for.
- Can I play for a different school?
-You must try out for you districted school first. If you do not make the team, then your name is place in a spreadsheet and the league assist in placing your athlete with a school that has a need for your athlete. We do this through our League wide tryout for schools that don't have enough in district players try out for their program.
-How long is the Season?
- The season consist of tryouts that range depending on program from May- June and then there are typically a few practices before the Pre-Season Tournament. The regular season games usually start the following Monday after the pre-season tournament, unless you're on the B team, at which the games could be that Sunday. Pre-Season is normally the first week of August. The Season for both A and B league runs from August through the 2nd week of October at the latest.
How many games do they play and tournaments?
-The amount of regular season games for both A and B leagues depends on several factors. 1- the number of teams competing in each league, 2- the field availability of schools, 3-the number of rainouts throughout the season.
-The number of tournaments depends on program as they are able to decide if they wish to participate in the tournaments or not. The tournaments offered are, 1- Pre-season tournament, 2- Milton tournament, 3- Pink Out tournament, 4- End-of-season tournament/Championship for both A and B league.
